Today I am sharing the one I made using the Snowfall Thinlits Dies from the Snowflake Showcase promotion. Today is the LAST day to order from these sets, so don't miss out! I LOVE these snowflakes!
In the second picture, you can just make out the top and see how the corners are rounded with the Detailed Trio Punch. Sorry I didn't get a better pic that that. For this tin, I opted for one of the snowflake patterns in the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to top it and nothing else. Getting closer to a #SimpleStamping project!
I used two strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive going all the way around the tin to attach the 3” x 12” DSP. You can cover four tins with one sheet of DSP, not including the top. Although you can also use card stock for the tops and then emboss it as I did on some of the coming Christmas Tins. If you prefer more of a reveal of the copper tin on the bottom, you could cut the paper to a width of 2-¼” and get five tins per sheet.
The front layers are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. And the center of the snowflake is one of our Faceted Gems that I colored copper with the Shimmer Paint and Sponge Daubers. I hope you enjoy this project!
