CAS MONDAY: 'Tis the Season, Deer!...

It was an exciting weekend for me!  Friday the countertops for my new Stampin' Studio were delivered yet again and they were finally correct!  Just in time, too, since my first in a series of three Christmas Stamp-a-Stack classes was Saturday (so FUN).  I spent much of my weekend unpacking things and organizing the desk and countertop areas.  Pictures to follow soon...

I am loving the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper!  I find the Old Olive and Basic Black color combination so striking!  I know it's not for everyone, but I am liking the change-up, so I let it guide me with this card! 

I decided this pattern called for a very simple nature-inspired card, so I used the trees and deer from Card Front Builder Thinlits.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Pines set in the Annual Catalog.  The ribbon is the yummy shimmer ribbon, but my photo is not picking up it's beautiful glitter look.  Enjoy!
