MOM'S VERY FIRST CAS VALENTINES...

We'll be heading home today after being back in Massachusetts for the past 9 days!  As always we had a great time and got our fill of all our hometown favorites!  We loved seeing all the family.   It's also Mike's and my 29th Anniversary and we are again spending it on the road.  It's getting to be a tradition!  At least we were together though.  There have been many, many years that Michael was out to sea or on travel with the Navy for our anniversary (not to mention all the birthdays and other holidays), so I'm grateful for that.

I brought a little bit of my stamping supplies with me and I finally got my mom to make some cards!  I didn't have much with me - no ribbon, DSP, Big Shot, etc., but we made very simple basic cards that she wouldn't stress over too much and could still feel like she was accomplishing something!

This is her very first card.  She made it for her granddaughter, Brianna (my niece), for Valentine's Day.  I had brought a baggie of lots of extra hearts that I had and she ended up deciding to use some of them in her card, so there is a real mix going on.  It works though!
