AUTUMN SPICE BUTTON TREE FRAMED ART...

Framed Art is one of my favorite stamping projects.  I love to have art on the walls that I created myself!  I have been planning this project for some time now and am so tickled to finally have gotten a chance to make it.  Of course, I had to use the gorgeous new Autumn Spice Specialty DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog - it matches all the colors of my family room beautifully.  And our beautiful new Regals Buttons were the perfect accent.  I used a frame with a copper metal insert as it matches my decor perfectly.  However, I think it would look just as nice in a contemporary black frame.

Sorry about the glare on the glass.  I tried indoors, outdoors, flash, no flash and this was the best one I could get with all the reflections in the glass.  Enjoy!

  1. This is simply gorgeous Marie and I want one, very badly! Where did you get the frame? I think it "makes" the whole creation! And I love that you used the new Autumn Spice Specialty DSP because I have to be honest - when I saw it in the catalog I wasn't really into it! But this project showcases it beautifully! Please tell me where you got that frame! I don't have that stamp set but maybe I can convince someone to stamp that tree on a sheet of paper for me so I can make a frame like yours! Thank you SO much for sharing!!!

  2. Thanks, Christine! I got the frame on clearance at Michael's. They have a whole series of metallic insert portrait frames, but that size was on clearance.

Yes, that DSP is gorgeous! My favorite fall DSP in the last few years.

  3. Love, love, love it! Would you mind sharing the frame's dimensions and the dimensions of the layers? I would love to make one.
