TECHNIQUE THURSDAY, KISSING...

Last night was my Technique Thursday class.  The first technique we did was kissing.  It is a technique that has been around for a very long time, but sometimes I forget that their are lots of people who are new to stamping.  They need to learn the oldies, but goodies, too!  There are many different twists on Kissing, but we covered the basic three methods.  Check back tomorrow for our No-Sew Ribbon Roses card!

KISSING TECHNIQUE:
1.  Ink a patterned stamp, such as one of our background stamps.
2.  Press a solid, uninked stamp against the patterned stamp, transferring the pattern to the solid stamp.
3.  Stamp the solid image on card stock.

Alternatives:
  • After completing Step 2, the patterned stamp can also be used for a "reverse kissing" look.
  • Before completing Step 2, you could ink your solid stamp image with a lighter color.
