For this card, I used a great template by Jackie Topa to make a Half-Cut Folded Card. I love to use different Fun Folds, so this was right up my alley and I really enjoyed making it. I'm off to a Halloween Party now! Be good!
Saturday: I have now added the directions for this project due to many requests. However, it is on Jackie's blog as well. Thanks!
EAT, DRINK & BE SCARY HALF-CUT FOLDED SUPPLIES:
- Stamps – Eat, Drink & Be Scary
- Card stock – Perfect Plum, scraps
- Pumpkin Pie Card Stock 4” x 11”
- Cast-a-Spell Designer Series Paper 3.75” x 5.25”
- Ink – Pumpkin Pie Classic, Basic Black Classic, Basic Black Craft, Markers (Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Perfect Plum)
- Punches – Curly Label Punch
- Ribbon – Basic Black & Elegant Eggplant ¼” Grosgrain
- Tools – Scoring tool, Big Shot, Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die Set
1. Score your cardstock @ 5 ½” and 8 ¼”. Line up the fold with the center of the Curly Label die as shown in the photo. Secure it in place with some Dotto.
2. Unfold your card stock over the Curly Label die and line the cutting pad up with the fold as shown (the die will only cut where the cutting pad is). Run through the Big Shot.
3. Fold the short piece back leaving the half Curly Label flat. Fold your card in half and use a bone folder to get a nice crease.
4. Stamp and punch out a Curly Label with the Curly Label Punch and adhere it to the front of your card.
5. Decorate your card as desired.
