CHRISTMAS IN JULY, Final Card...
Here is my last card from my Christmas in July Class. It was the simplest card and the main stamp isn't even a Christmas set. But that is why it is my favorite! I love finding new uses for my stamps. I created a few different versions of this card (one really pretty with the sentiment on a medallion piece with more Brushed Gold), but in the end each one got simpler and this was the one I liked best!

MEDALLION MERRY CHRISTMAS IN GOLD SUPPLIES:

  • Stamps – Medallion #115223 ($17.95), A Cardinal Christmas #111760 ($23.95)
  • Card stock – Very Vanilla, 8.5” x 5.5”, scored @ 4.25”
    • Very Vanilla, 4” x 5.25"
    • Brushed Gold, 4.25” x 5.5”
  •  Ink – Metallic Gold
  • Accessories – Gold or Clear Embossing Powder, Clear Circle Rhinestone Brad
...And here is a bonus for you! This card did not make the cut for my class. Ultimately, I decided that there was too much coloring for everyone to complete in class, so it had to go. I do love all the color in it though! Enjoy!

ELVES R US SUPPLIES:
  • Stamps – Holiday Lineup #111648 ($21.95), Heard from the Heart #111644 ($22.95)
  • Card stock – Real Red Textured, 8.5” x 5.5”, score @ 4.25”
    • Real Red Textured, 4" x 2.25"
    • Brushed Gold, 3.75" x 2"
    • Whisper White, 2 5/8" x 1 7/8"
    • Old Olive 4" x 5" (top note)
    • Merry Moments DSP 5.5" x 3"
  • Ink – Basic Black Classic, Gold Metallic, Vanilla Craft, Markers (Real Red, Olive Green, So Saffron, Blush Blossom)
  • Accessories – Big Shot Top Note Die

  4. Oh that medallion is amazing! I adore this card...I love the little elves, too, but you're right in thinking the coloring would take a while. My friend & I did a SAS last year and we spent a goodly amount of time coloring just three of these cuties!

  6. When I saw this stamp in the catalog, I wasn't sure I really liked it; but yours is the second one I've seen using it and I have to say I really like it a lot. Thanks for the inspiration!

  7. These are both beautiful. Love the silver embossing, and the the row of elves is too cute! Too bad it is too involved for your class! But you are right, lots of coloring!
